Pastoral Calling

I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me. I firmly believe that pastoral ministry is more than a job—it’s a calling. God has placed a deep desire in my heart to shepherd His people, preach His Word, and help others grow in their faith.

About Me

My journey in ministry began in my late teens when I served as a youth pastor, pouring into the next generation and helping young people develop a deeper relationship with Christ. While I later spent many years in the private sector—growing businesses, leading teams, and developing leaders—God never stopped stirring my heart for ministry.

In recent years, I founded EMBER FAITH, an online ministry dedicated to spreading the gospel through Bible studies, devotionals, and digital outreach. Through this platform, I’ve been able to connect with people around the world, encouraging them in their faith and pointing them to Christ. Now, I feel a strong calling to return to pastoral ministry, using my experiences in leadership, preaching, and discipleship to serve the local church.

I currently live in the Pinehurst, NC, with my wife and kids, and we love the small-town atmosphere (even though I’m not a golfer!). As a family, we’re passionate about our faith, community, and creating a home centered on Christ. We know that ministry isn’t just a calling for one person—it’s something we live out together, and we’re excited for where God is leading us next.

What I’m Looking For

I am prayerfully seeking a pastoral role where I can:

Preach and teach the Word faithfully.

Shepherd a church with biblical leadership and vision.

Equip and disciple believers to grow in their faith.

Engage the community and reach the lost for Christ.

I am open to senior pastor role, or church planting opportunities where I can serve and make an impact for God’s Kingdom.

Statement of Faith

I believe in one God, the Creator of the universe, as affirmed in Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." This God is the author of all things, the source of life and purpose.

I believe in the Holy Trinity, as described in Matthew 28:19: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." This Trinity consists of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each distinct yet eternally united.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who took on human form to save humanity from sin, as stated in John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." He lived a sinless life, providing us with a perfect example to follow (1 Peter 2:21).

I believe in the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, as confirmed in Romans 5:8: "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Through His sacrifice, we can have a personal relationship with God, reconciled and forgiven.

I believe in the promise of Jesus' return, as stated in Acts 1:11: "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven." His second coming will fulfill God's plan for the redemption of creation.

I believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God?" The Holy Spirit guides, empowers, and comforts us in our Christian journey.

I believe that baptism is a symbolic act of obedience and identification with Christ, reserved for believers who have dedicated their lives to Him, following Jesus' command in Matthew 28:19-20.

This statement of faith reflects my core beliefs in God's triune nature, the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, and the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer, as revealed in the Scriptures.

Philosophy of Ministry

I believe in the authority of Scripture, the power of the gospel, and the necessity of discipleship in the life of every believer. My passion is to see people come to know Christ, grow in their faith, and live out the Great Commission.

As a pastor, my focus is on:

• Biblical Preaching – Teaching the Word of God with clarity, depth, and application.

• Authentic Discipleship – Helping people grow in their faith through intentional relationships.

• Spiritual Growth & Church Health – Encouraging believers to mature in their walk with Christ while fostering a thriving, spiritually healthy church.

• Outreach & Evangelism – Sharing the gospel boldly and equipping the church to reach the lost.

• Shepherding & Community – Walking alongside people in their struggles and victories, strengthening relationships within the body of Christ.

• Ministry Development – Establishing and strengthening ministries that serve individuals and families, ensuring the church meets both spiritual and practical needs.
